This Privacy Policy explains how Montbelai (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Financial Architect Postiz application (“the App”) and the website montbelai.tech.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information required to operate the App:

  • Account credentials: OAuth tokens for connected social media accounts (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) are stored securely to enable automated posting.
  • Content you upload: Video files uploaded for scheduling or publishing. These are processed temporarily and may be stored on Cloudflare R2 for delivery to platforms.
  • Usage data: Basic logs (e.g. posting timestamps, error logs) used for debugging. No analytics tracking or advertising profiling.

2. TikTok API Data

The App connects to TikTok through the TikTok for Developers API using the following access scopes:

  • Content Posting API (Direct Post): Used solely to publish videos to your TikTok profile on your behalf.
  • video.list: Used to verify the status of posted videos. No video content or metadata is stored beyond operational needs.

TikTok API data accessed through the App:

  • Is used only to provide the posting and scheduling service you authorized
  • Is never sold to third parties
  • Is never shared with advertisers or data brokers
  • Is not used to build profiles, retarget users, or train machine learning models

By connecting your TikTok account, you agree to TikTok’s Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate your social media accounts and maintain active connections
  • Publish scheduled video content on your behalf
  • Diagnose errors and improve App reliability

We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond the core service.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: Infrastructure providers (Cloudflare R2 for video storage, VPS hosting) that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: If required by law or valid legal process.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Video files uploaded for posting are deleted from our servers within 7 days of posting. OAuth tokens are retained only while your account is actively connected. You can revoke access at any time in the TikTok mobile app: Profile → Menu (☰) → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services permissions → Remove access.

To request deletion of any data we hold about you, email info@montbelai.tech. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Security

OAuth tokens and credentials are stored encrypted. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized operators only.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@montbelai.tech.

We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on this page.
